Free Up OneDrive!

"My computer is slow or wont do __ because my hard drive is full!"

Start by navigating to the folder that needs to be cleaned up.

Check the icon to the right of the files.

It should look like this:

Make sure you're connected to the internet / VPN.

Make sure OneDrive is connected by accessing in taskbar.

Wait a bit, that will change.

Once sync is confirmed, right click the folder.

Navigate to "Free up space" and click it.

To prevent synching to one drive & local in the future:

Navigate to OneDrive in the taskbar, go to settings.

From there, go to "Files On-Demand at the bottom of the pop-up window."

Checked == local & OneDrive

Empty == OneDrive only
